Jacó

Hola de Jacó! We have arrived safe and sound.  The four of us shared a taxi from Grecia to the beach, which cost a little bit more than the bus, but probably saved us a couple hours of transit, even though out taxi driver got lost a little bit.  


It is so interesting to see the difference between beach life and life in Grecia.  I have heard more English than Spanish in Jacó, and the prices are definitely adjusted for tourists.  None the less, it is nice to have a little time to descansar and relax.  Last night we had a lovely dinner at Tsunami Sushi, where Jon and I had eaten before.  We ordered way too much food, but fortunately we have a little kitchen so, we brought it home for leftovers today. 

Today we'll be relaxing some more, and maybe heading to Playa Hermosa, about 10 minutes south to check out the surf competition!  After the craziness of arriving, lots of classes, being sick, it feels good to not have an agenda or a schedule.
